Half Moon Drumming
at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ft Lauderdale
7:30 - 9:30 pm
Map

As the waning Moon passes from gibbous to crescent, we enter a time called Half Moon or Third Quarter. At this moment, there are those who gather together to enter an altered state. Other might use yoga, chanting, ritual, or breathing, but these people use drumming.

Through the repetition of the rhythm, we enter a meditation and commune with the forces that bring meaning to us. What is our belief system? We have no dogma in common. Yet, each of us chooses to connect through the drum.

Join us at this Season of the Moon and listen to what speaks to you through your inner self. Our gathering is sponsored by the membership of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fort Lauderdale. But you may bring your own meaning with you, just as the rest of us do.
